A Small Intro

For those of you who don't already know Google Maps, it's simply a mapping service Google offers. The most interresting part about Google Maps however is the ability to see satellite imagery of the entire world. Well, for now it only covers most of North-America, but it's supposed to cover the entire earth in the future. So for those of you who were hoping to see their house from space, you'll just have to be a bit more patient.

Meanwhile, you can use your mouse to discover North-America and look around for historical monuments, amazing landscapes, huge airports or harbours and maybe even a UFO. Have fun and let me know if you find a cool snapshot.

So you could start to become the CIA on your own? Googling every street, every city, ... Too bad it's only for the part of North America because here's what you can't get from that program:

Crop circles (all around the world): http://www.osfa.org.uk/secondone.jpg
    Nazca (Peru): http://www.toursonhorseback.com/nazca.htm

    Horse in landscapes (Wiltshire, England):

Greetings and good luck with your exams, Tim!
